Membership Policy

Membership shall not be restricted according to race, creed, age, gender, disability, nationality, sexual orientation, economic status, veteran status, or parenthood.
Active membership can be annulled based on a member’s activities during any events organized by the chapter.
Hateful act or speech will not be tolerated in the chapter and may result in a ban.
During any dispute, the rules from the bylaws shall be executed by the Chapter Officers.

NSU ACM Student Chapter is one of the largest technical chapters of NSU. By providing a platform to all coding enthusiasts in our society, NSU ACM S-Chapter believes in improving the computer science culture in our community by providing various opportunities to our members. We focus on promoting the use of computing and its applications. Numerous events are regularly conducted by our chapter, such as Codeathons, Hackathons, Workshops, Seminars, Webinars and more of the kind. We are passionate about taking steps that will contribute to the growth of our members as well as the chapter as a whole.

Besides being a member of the NSU ACM Student Chapter, you may also want to register for an official ACM Student membership. Official membership brings tons of benefits such as free access to all books from O'Reilly for a year.
